Inspired by adversarial models in cybersecurity, it breaks money laundering into tactics, techniques, and indicators, providing a structured, machine-readable lens for understanding, detecting, and mitigating illicit activity. Beyond its adversarial kill-chain, the framework offers supplemental taxonomies for risks, actors, value instruments, mitigations, products & services, and data sources—building a modular, extensible view of financial crime.
