Reason for deprecation: Cryptojacking represents a discrete, adversarial tactic involving malware or unauthorized code to covertly exploit victims’ computing infrastructure. This activity bypasses legitimate infrastructure control, warrants its own threat vector, and operates independently of voluntary mining behavior. As such, its inclusion under general Cryptocurrency Mining was inadequate.
